If you're looking to see if Lake Travis ISD schools will be closed because of weather
If you want to know if school will be closed tomorrow (1/28/09) or any other day you can visit the LTISD website by clicking here. There, you can also sign up for email notifcations. I will also try and post here as soon as I know.
Here is what the Lake Travis ISD website says this afternoon:
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Travis and other surrounding counties from 6:00 p.m. today through 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 28. Weather-related information pertaining to possible school delays or closures will be posted here by no later than 5:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 28. Additionally, as conditions warrant, information will be communicated via our local news media as well as through the District’s QuickNews electronic notification system.
