Lakeway Restaurants Near the Waterfront Model Home at Marina Village at Lakeway
When I am at the model home at Marina Village Condominiums I come in contact with many people who are unfamiliar with Lakeway, Texas. Many of our condo buyers are second homeowners who are just here a few weekends each year, and many of the visitors I see are guests at the Lakeway Resort and Spa and are visiting the area for the first time. I often get asked for restaurant recommendations, directions, etc.
With that in mind, I've compiled a list of some of my favorite Lakeway (and surrounding area) restaurants. I've given you Asian Restaurant ideas and recommendations for Sandwiches and Other American Fare and Mexican food. Ciola's Italian-American Restaurant - Has served traditional Italian recipes handed down from Grandmother Frances since 1949. Extensive wine list and fabulous service.

The Emerald Restaurant - Open only for dinner, this "cottage-style" restaurant serves fine Irish foods in an enchanting setting.

Hudson's on the Bend - Located in a sprawling farmhouse, Hudson's is both rustic and elegant. They serve all kinds of wild game prepared with care. Lance Armstrong calls Hudson's an Austin experience: warm, laid-back and unique.

New restaurants are popping up all around as the Lakeway area continues to grow. At the new Hill Country Galleria, we have Mimi's Cafe, Iron Cactus, Fish City Grille and a few other places that I'll write about in the future.
