Friday Night Lights at Lake Travis! 

The Lake Travis Cavaliers begin district play tonight, September 26th at 7:30pm. 


At the risk of sounding very "Mayberry"

Our community is so very proud of the Lake Travis High School Cavalier Football Team!  They are the 2007 Texas Class 4A Div. II State Champions and are on their way to another great year!  They went 15/1 last year and are on the road to repeat their success with a 4-0 preseason play against traditional powerhouse 5A ranked schools!  You can find more details about Lake Travis here

It is amazing to go to the football games and see so many people from the community there to cheer on and support the team!  It seems a lot people donn the red and black, grab a pom pom and noisemaker and head out to the game and have fun!  Unlike many in Texas, I am not a football fanatic - but I still love to go to the games and often find myself even listening to the games on the radio if I can't attend.    

Under Coach Morris, the team returns with first string starters featuring quarterback-Garret Gilbert, running back-Chris Aydam and offensive tackle-Paden Kelly -just to name a few.
